Hi, I’m Megan
If you’re in your 20s or early 30s and feel like you are still figuring things out, you are not alone.
I created Quiet Momentum as a space to navigate this stage of life.
About
Being a young adult can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. There are a lot of decisions to be made, a lot of pressure and a lot of uncertainty.
Our careers, friendships, relationships, health, and routines are suddenly up to us. We’re trying to figure out who we are, who we want to be, and what path we want to take.
My 20s were some of the best years of my life, but also some of the most challenging. I was figuring out the bigger pieces - where to live, my career path, friendships, and relationships. But there were also smaller things about becoming an adult that snuck up on me, like learning to lease my first car, doing my taxes, and learning how to handle responsibilities I have never managed before.
More than anything my 20s felt like a push and pull. I felt freedom for the first time, which was exciting, but also scary. At times I felt ahead, and at other times I felt behind. Sometimes I felt confident with the direction I was headed, but other times I felt lost.
Quiet Momentum exists to create space for these conversations. We focus on direction, navigating change, and taking the small steps that help move life forward. Progress doesn’t have to be loud and urgent. It can be quiet and built over time.
A little bit more about me
I’m currently 30 years old and have a background in higher education and social work. I was a Division 1 field hockey player in college and became a Division 1 assistant coach after graduating. After coaching at the college level, I moved into academic advising and now work in healthcare.
I’ve been coaching in this space since 2020 and have worked with clients in different stages of life, which has given me a lot of perspective on how common it is to feel uncertain while figuring things out in your 20s and early 30s.
Outside of work, I love sport – running, walking, staying active, and being outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my partner. I like to try my best to keep a good balance in my life, not always easy, but it’s something I strive for!
